Jasperite Moira McKinnon unleashed cute creepy crawlers on the world, Nov. 16, with the release of her first book, Awesome Ants and Lady Bugs in Pants. The book launch was held at the Jasper Information Centre and included a costume contest, with prizes for the best bug costumes.
The winner was Myles Misskey, who was dressed in cardboard butterfly wings. McKinnon鈥檚 book will be on sale in the Friends of Jasper National Park gift shop, as well other select shops around town.
