The Alpine Summit Senior鈥檚 Lodge officially kicked of Alberta Seniors鈥� Week June 2, with a garden party in their newly planted backyard garden.
More than 30 seniors showed up to the event, to take in the freshly bloomed flowers and warm spring sunshine.
Some lounged at the table talking, watching the birds and blowing bubbles, while others munched on finger foods and desserts. At one point a sing-along broke out.
The garden party is just one of several events the lodge is hosting during Seniors鈥� Week June 2鈥�8, including a mini golf tournament and an ice cream social and sock hop.
