In an effort to decorate a tree for the Jasper-Yellowhead Museum and Archives’ annual Festival of Trees, the Friends of Jasper held an ornament making workshop, Nov. 16.
After three hours of intense crafting by a dozen Christmas elves, the tree was colourfully adorned in handcrafted ornaments.
The Festival of Trees kicks off on Friday, Nov. 22, with 32 trees decorated by organizations and businesses in town.
Bidding on the trees begins that day and continues through to Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. The proceeds from the auction go toward the operational costs of the museum.
