RCMP seek assistance
An aircraft at the Jasper Airstrip was damaged sometime between May 18 and May 22, and the RCMP is asking for assistance to identify the person responsible.
The suspect caused damage to a wing and the tail of the aircraft.

Hunting for gardeners
Flowers are beginning to bloom, and that can only mean one thing: the annual Secret Garden Tour is right around the corner.
Do you have a beautiful garden you鈥檇 like to showcase during the tour? If so, the Friends of the Jasper Library would love to hear from you. The organization is asking that the town鈥檚 gardeners share their love for gardening, July 12.

Relay celebrates 10 years
This weekend, for the 10th year, athletes from all over the world will lace up their runners and hit the pavement in the Banff Jasper Relay.
Sixty teams of 15 will run the 260 km, 15 stage race, June 7.
The relay is run in two phases that take place simultaneously. The first phase has six stages and covers Banff to Saskatchewan River Crossing, while the second phase has nine stages and covers Saskatchewan River Crossing to Jasper. Both phases begin at 7 a.m.
Runners have until 10 p.m. to complete the race.
Team results are based on the cumulative times for both phases of the relay.
Wrestling in the Rockies
For the second year in a row, the municipality is bringing pro wrestling to the Jasper Arena.
On Tuesday, June 10, there will be five live matches beginning at 7 p.m.
Up first is the heavyweight championship match between Bobby Sharp and Massive Damage. Next is the provincial championship between Match-Kato and the undefeated Sin City Strangler.
Then it鈥檚 time for a tag team match, with Wild Child Tyler James and the Hired Gun Chris Perish taking on Team Pain. From there the ladies take the stage for a triple threat championship match, with Kat Von Heez, Sexy Samantha and Melisha facing off for the win.
The evening of body slams and headlocks will close with Mexican Sensation Diablo facing off in the ring against Raunchy Jewels.
Tickets are available at the Jasper Activity Centre front desk or by calling 780-852-3381. Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth 16 and under. At the door they鈥檙e $20 for adults and $15 for youth.
