The Atha-B was swarming with costumed ghouls and caricatures, July 31, for HIV West Yellowhead’s annual Halloween in July party.
Through its cover charge, the event raised $1,700 for the non-profit.
That adds to the $3,783.55 that was raised July 20 during Servers Against AIDS Day, where servers from select restaurants donated their tips to HIVWY. The top earner was Jasper Pizza Place, who donated $1,438.90. Coco’s Cafe came in second with $609.40.
The funds from Servers Against AIDS Day will be split between HIV West Yellowhead and the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
