When the lights go down and the music starts to blare from the speakers, the divas come out to play. Or at least that was the case on Saturday, when three vivacious queens took to the stage at the Jasper Legion, belting out everything from Tina Turner to Olivia Newton-John, all while dressed in the most stunning of outfits, from sequin dresses to 80s workout wear—no matter what they donned, these ladies looked fabulous.

Now, this isn’t a typical Saturday night at the Jasper Legion. The divas only come out to play once a year for the Jasper Pride Festival Society’s Divalicious fundraiser.

This year’s performers were Jasper’s own Toni Lester Van Blam and her friends Ginger Schnapps and Chantelle Lee.

The event is the pride society’s first fundraiser, leading up to the Jasper Pride Weekend—which is extending beyond its usual three days in 2015, beginning for the first time ever on Thursday.

The event raised funds through ticket sales and a silent auction, with items as varied as a Mountains and Monsters pillow to a painting by local artist, Greg Deagle.

The annual pride festival will celebrate its sixth year in March.
