Locals and tourists alike donned their cowboy hats and Wranglers last week, as some of the world’s top cowboys and girls competed in the 86th annual Jasper Heritage Rodeo.
The four-day event saw athletes compete in everything from barrel racing to steer wrestling, calf roping and bull riding.
Rodeo week kicked off Wednesday, Aug. 14, with a stick pony parade around town and carried on through to Saturday, Aug. 24, when country artist Blake Berglund brought out the inner wrangler in all of the rodeo dance attendees.
