There was standing room only, Monday, as Jasperites took a moment to reflect on war veterans both past and present. The public ceremony drew people young and old to the Jasper Activity Centre, where together they shared two minutes of silence in memory of those who have fallen during military service. The Remembrance Day ceremony also included the reading of In Flanders Fields, the singing of "O Canada" and "Let There Be Peace on Earth," and the laying of wreaths.

Adding to the occasion this year, was also the Justice and Solicitor General Regimental Pipe Band, which played as the colour party and honour guard paraded into the multi-purpose hall, as well as on the street as the guard made its way to the cenotaph. Following the ceremony, the band continued its performance at the Jasper Legion.
