In reading the article I did not get the impression that the question ‘how can we make this better?’ was suggested or asked. Sadly it appears that this culture or approach does not exist in the administration, this is true of many other areas as well.
I appreciate the comment from the mayor questioning risk. Not sure the response is very progressive.
I also appreciate Coun. Wall’s question about putting in fences and signs. The use of fences and signs at the pedestrian underpass on Hazel Avenue have not been effective over the years. People are still using the stairs as it is a shorter route. I wonder what the risk consultant said about icy slopes and stairs at that location?
