Earlier this month, five of the Jasper Red Fins swimmers and their coach traveled to St. Albert to compete in their annual swim meet.
The team of six swam in many different events including backstroke, freestyle and individual medley, tallying up five first place finishes and six second place finishes.
The results:
Michael Ralf: 1st overall in 50 metre backstroke and 100 metre backstroke; 2nd overall in 50 metre freestyle.
Pascale Robinson: 1st overall in 100 metre freestyle; 2nd overall in 50 metre backstroke, 200 metre individual medley, and 50 metre freestyle.
Mikaela Robinson: 5th overall in 100 metre freestyle; 8th overall in 50 metre freestyle; and 9th overall in 50 metre breaststroke.
Hope Deagle: 2nd overall in 50 metre backstroke; 5th overall in 100 metre individual medley, 6th overall in 100 metre and 50 metre freestyle.
Mikyla Sherlow: 1st overall in 100 metre backstroke and 50 metre backstroke; 2nd overall in 100 metre freestyle; and 3rd overall in 50 metre freestyle.
Keely Ralf: 5th overall in 50 metre backstroke.
