Donning their spookiest masks and fearful costumes, Connie Sawka’s Grade 5/6 class welcomed the students and parents of Jasper Elementary School into their haunted classroom, Oct. 28.
Attendees were guided through the classroom as they checked out the homemade decor, played games and had a few tricks and treats.
For each haunted classroom-goer, Sawka asked for a $2 donation.
All the money raised from the spooky classroom will go to Plan International Canada, an international development organization, working in partnership with millions of people around the world to end global poverty.
This year the class raised $300.
On Halloween day, the students also took turns parading their costumes around the school.
