On July 16, 2023, Hinton RCMP received a report that a 1999 F-350 and two dirt bikes had been stolen from the back-parking lot of the Hinton Lodge located at 752 Carmichael Ln, Hinton.
The theft occurred July 16, 2023, at 2:13 A.M. Video surveillance in the area details two suspects approaching the vehicle, breaking into it and driving away.
The vehicle is a 1999 Ford F-350 Lariat 4x4 truck with BC license plate SM6692. It is dark green with black rock guard trim along the font and back fender wells and rocker panels. Additionally, the vehicle has a black aftermarket grill and a blue tailgate.
The two dirt bikes were in the box of the truck at the time of the theft. The first dirt bike is described as a 2014 Beta 250 RR red in colour. The second dirt bike is a 2015 Husqvarna 350 FES that is white and blue and has a damaged front headlight.
