These awards celebrate teachers and principals who have demonstrated creativity and innovation in Alberta’s classrooms. From the semi-finalists, 20 teachers will be selected and recognized at a dinner and ceremony on May 25.
Teachers are nominated by their students, colleagues and community members.
Robb is the creator of the high school’s sustainability club and class. The club is in its seventh year and the class in its third. Since its creation, the club has gained attention across North America for its sustainability efforts.
Last year, while the students were in Portland presenting at the Living Futures Un-Conference, Robb was recognized with a Living Building Hero Award for his work with Jasper’s youth.
