The cost to send a letter in Canada is increasing by about 25 per cent, effective today.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says she received no indication from U.S. President-elect Donald Trump over the weekend that he plans to back down on implementing hefty tariffs on Canadian products.

"Parks Canada works year-round to reduce the risks of wildfire ensure and to ensure we're prepared to respond in the event of a wildfire across the mountain national parks."
