The Town of Hinton hopes to convince AHS to establish and maintain a helipad at the Hinton Hospital.

Mondi intends to invest in a new kraft paper machine capable of producing 200,000 tonnes of kraft paper annually for sustainable packaging solutions.

The threatened bull trout might be in harm's way if Coalspur's Vista Coal Mine expansions proceed.

"No one on either council was suggesting that the Town doesn’t need a golf course, or even that locals shouldn’t have some sort of preferential access to it. But we thought selling some of the land was the best way to protect both."

The team was made up of eight members of the Hinton Cougars, four from TNT Biathlon near Devon, one from Battle River Nordic and one from Edmonton Nordic. Five of these athletes were from Jasper.

The victim had met a man claiming to be an ex-RCMP member who could get him a good deal on a repossessed vehicle. After receiving money, the suspect stopped all further communication.

The partnership now looks ahead to significant future investments on both sides.

Team Sluchinsk will go on to represent Alberta at the 2024 Montana's Brier in Regina.
