On July 10, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., Hinton RCMP received a call from a complainant that witnessed her vehicle being stolen out of her driveway in Hinton. Members responded immediately and were able to track the vehicle using GPS.

On July 16, 2023, Hinton RCMP received a report that a 1999 F-350 and two dirt bikes had been stolen from the back-parking lot of the Hinton Lodge located at 752 Carmichael Ln, Hinton. The theft occurred July 16, 2023, at 2:13 A.M.

On July 6, 2023, at 1:25 a.m., the Hinton RCMP Crime Reduction Unit was making routine patrols in the Town of Hinton when a red Ford Super Duty truck was seen fueling up at a gas station.
