Jasper RCMP lay separate impaired charges hours apart

Two residents were arrested and charged for impaired driving less than 24 hours apart, according to the Jasper RCMP. During the early hours of April 6, police stopped a vehicle on Connaught Drive and conducted a sobriety check with the driver.

Largest-ever marathon kicks off running season

Forget the commercial space cap, Jasper is quickly racing toward its marathon cap. The 2017 Jasper Half Marathon drew 845 runners to the mountain town on April 8, about 20 per cent more than last year.
