Early season shred

Marmot Basin marked its 50th opening with a snowy day of lower mountain magic. On time for first chair, two lifts were open and six runs were groomed and ready to rock: School House, Bunny Hop, Old Road, Tranquilizer, Slow Poke and Sleepy Hollow.

Jasper Midget Bearcats are back

It’s been a whole season since Jasper had Midget level hockey, and this years’ team is back with four wins and one tie so far. The team has travelled to Athabasca, Whitecourt and Hinton and hosted Edson and Hinton at home.
